1. About OpnIn
OpnIn is a Safari extension for iOS that adds messaging-app shortcut buttons next to phone number links on web pages. It allows you to quickly open phone numbers in WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Messenger, or Messages instead of making a phone call. The app is developed and provided by Sufiyan Yasa.
2. Use of the App
You agree to use OpnIn responsibly and lawfully. You must not:
- Misuse, reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the app or its data
- Use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to bypass subscription limits or restrictions
- Share your account or subscription with others
The app is for personal, non-commercial use only.
3. Safari Extension Behaviour
OpnIn modifies web pages in Safari by injecting shortcut buttons next to detected phone number links. The extension:
- Only interacts with
tel:links - Does not modify, read, or store any other page content
- Does not intercept or redirect links without your explicit tap
- Requires the "All Websites" permission to function across sites
The original phone call link always remains available alongside the messaging buttons.
4. Subscriptions & Free Tier
Free Tier: Messages (SMS) buttons are available to all users at no cost.
Premium Subscription: Unlock WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, and Messenger shortcuts. Subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store and can be cancelled at any time through your App Store settings.
Billing: Subscription fees are charged through your Apple ID. Prices may vary by region. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Refunds: Managed by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Third-Party Messaging Apps
OpnIn redirects phone numbers to third-party messaging applications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
- Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC)
- Signal (Signal Technology Foundation)
- Viber (Rakuten Viber)
- Messenger (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
These apps are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. OpnIn simply constructs a URL to open the number in your chosen app.
6. Data & Privacy
OpnIn stores your app preferences locally on your device. No browsing data, phone numbers, or page content is transmitted to our servers. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
OpnIn is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- URL scheme reliability – Messaging app URL schemes may change without notice and we cannot guarantee they will always work
- Phone number detection – The extension may not detect all phone links or may incorrectly identify non-phone links
- Compatibility – The extension may not work on all websites or with all Safari configurations
- Uninterrupted operation – The app may malfunction or produce unexpected behaviour
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
IN NO EVENT SHALL SUFIYAN YASA BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Missed or misdirected communications
- Messages sent to incorrect recipients
- Inability to make phone calls due to link interception
- Loss of data or business opportunities
- Decisions made based on the app's behaviour
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50 USD), WHICHEVER IS LESS.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sufiyan Yasa and OpnIn from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the app
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
- Messages sent via third-party apps through OpnIn shortcuts
10. Dispute Resolution
Good Faith Negotiation: Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting me+opnin@sufiyanyasa.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and/or the laws of your jurisdiction, whichever provides greater consumer protection.
Regional Variations:
- EU/UK Users: You retain all mandatory consumer rights under EU/UK consumer protection laws.
- US Users: Disputes may be resolved under the Federal Arbitration Act.
- Other Jurisdictions: Local mandatory consumer protection laws shall apply where they provide greater protection.
Opt-Out Right: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to me+opnin@sufiyanyasa.com within 30 days of first using the app.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of OpnIn, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Sufiyan Yasa and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to OpnIn at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device and disabling the Safari extension.
